We are committed to building strong and vibrant communities by supporting causes that are important to our clients, employees, partners and stakeholders. This Mother’s Day week, CC&L Private Capital Managing Director Catherine Dorazio and Wealth Advisor, Associate Advising Representative Angela Huck, were among the volunteers who partnered with Vancouver’s Mom2Mom organization to cook and serve meals to mothers in need and their children.
Mom2Mom helps connect Vancouver mothers and children living in poverty with the resources, community, and support they need to thrive. Catherine and Angela helped to prepare and serve delicious and nutritious three-course meals in the historic ‘Save the Meats’ diner to many deserving mothers and children.
Angela said, “It’s special to be a part of this evening where we come together in service, connection, and community and to play a small part in celebrating such deserving mothers and their children.”
Additionally, the Connor, Clark & Lunn Foundation provided a donation to support the work of Mom2Mom. The foundation responds to requests from clients, staff and others to fund programs and not-for-profit organizations that help promote a better environment, improvements to education, advances in science and medicine, stronger communities and the arts.
