Help for the holidays

Throughout this holiday season, through the Connor, Clark & Lunn Foundation, we are supporting 59 charitable and non-profit organizations across Canada whose hard work makes the holidays a little easier for people in need. The holiday campaign is focused on providing support for food banks helping to fight hunger, homeless shelters providing warmth and a roof to those who need it most, empty stocking funds and meal hamper programs.

Our donation to the Edgar Burton Christmas Food Drive is a recognition of and tribute to our clients’ commitment to our firm and the Sudbury community. Happy Holidays! 

The organizations that receive donations from the foundation are nominated by our employees and owners, including Senior Vice President Darin Thompson. As Darin explains, his support for the Sudbury Food Bank hits home every holiday season. “Growing up, I remember supporting local food drives in my community and the number of less fortunate individuals who benefited from our gifts. With the phenomenal support that individuals in the Sudbury community have shown myself and CC&L Private Capital over the past almost 15 years, I felt it important to show our appreciation.” Darin asked that the CC&L Foundation support the Sudbury Food Bank, which was founded in 1988 to ensure that every person in the City of Greater Sudbury has enough to eat. It pledges that every dollar contributed is translated into food on someone’s plate.
