Catherine Dorazio, Managing Director, Business Development at Connor, Clark & Lunn Private Capital Ltd. has
responsibility for corporate branding and recruitment, as well as leading an experienced team of Wealth Advisors nationally. Catherine works with Jeff Guise, Managing Director, Investments and Ramy Dimitry, Managing Director, Business Management & Operations to set the strategic direction of the company.
Previously, Catherine worked with CC&L Private Capital as Vice President and Portfolio Manager where she built a successful practice guiding the investments of private clients and foundations.
Catherine earned a Bachelor of Commerce (B. Com) degree, MBA degree, Chartered Investment Manager (CIM) designation, and completed the Family Enterprise Advisor (FEA) program of the Family Enterprise Xchange. Prior to a career in finance,
she represented Canada as a professional freestyle snowboarder in World Cup and media events globally.
Catherine worked with BC Children’s Hospital for 13 years in various capacities including Head of the Sponsorship Committee for the Crystal Ball. She has also worked extensively with BC Women’s Hospital and the Forum for Women Entrepreneurs
among other worthwhile causes.
In 2021, Catherine was recognized as a talent leader by Wealth Professional Canada magazine for her contributions toward advancement of diversity and inclusion in CC&L Private Capital. BCBusiness magazine named her one of BC’s Most Influential Women in Finance in 2019 and one of BC’s 50 Most Influential Women in 2015. In 2018, Catherine was selected as a finalist for the Female Executive of the Year by WP Women in Wealth Management. In 2017, she was a finalist in the prestigious EY Entrepreneur of the Year Pacific Awards program award, alongside Jeff Guise and Corey MacEachern for their leadership of CC&L Private Capital. Catherine is also a past recipient of Business in Vancouver's Forty Under 40 award and the finance industry Five Star Professional award. Recently, she began sharing her career pursuits as a public speaker, and can often be found relaxing with her family on the ski hills of Whistler.
